If you are flummoxed about how to begin your epic cycling, the itineraries listed here are a great place to start

There is, of course, no “best” way for pedaling around the Western Balkans. For every rider there is a different way to enjoy the Trans Dinarica: by country, for a few days, for weeks, along rivers, over mountains, and/or incorporating the sea. But we have assembled some of our favorite sections of the route — linking multiple countries via “loops” when possible. We’ve also provided information about getting to the head of the trail and getting home  … because these are often the most  daunting logistical barriers when planning a multi-day cycle experience.
