Team
The GoodTrail team does one thing, and it does it well: Create adventure tourism routes for destinations around the world. These routes combine culture and active travel, and, in the process, encourage local businesses to meet the needs of a new generation of travelers who demand authenticity, responsibility, multi-faceted experiences, and a roots-up view of the places they visit.
GoodTrail’s goal is to facilitate and solidify community-based tourism efforts around the world while also providing visitors with a method for engaging in real travel. But, our team members are also travelers. When we help create routes for destinations, we are also imagining what we want to experience — as can be seen with our green-minded projects.
Jan Klavora
Jan is responsible for some of the most successful biking tourism products in the Western Balkans and manages the biggest outdoor festivals in the region, the Soča Outdoor Festival, Julian Alps Trail Run etc. Jan works with destinations in all development phases — from the identification of outdoor tourism products, strategic planning, route design, and marketing.

Alex Crevar is a cycle-route developer and travel journalist committed to sharing the stories of those who take sustainability seriously.
Matic Klanjšček
A geodesist by profession, Matic had been active in the field of cartography and marine hydrography for a long time. In recent years, he has combined his primary expertise of spatial informatics with mountain bike guiding and the growth of tourism products related to it.
Matevž Hribar
A mechatronics engineer by education, Matevž is a person of many interests: raced motorbikes, created content for various printed and digital automotive media, helped organize motorcycle tours, and takes care of the copywriting, photography and video recording as well as editing the websites and social media for GoodTrail.
Andrej Bandelj
With more than 19 years of experience as a tourist guide, Andrej joined the GoodTrail team a few years ago as an expert in creating new routes. Andrej — an enthusiastic hiker, runner and cyclist — has excellent knowledge and understanding of nature and how to share it with travelers.
Jana Apih
Jana is the co-author of the Green Scheme of Slovenian tourism (Slovenia Green) for which Slovenia has won a number of international sustainable-tourism awards. Jana also manages the Institute Factory of Sustainable Tourism GoodPlace and is among those responsible for the development of the national certification program Slovenia Green.
Monja Ferčec
Monja is a digital marketing and social media specialist with a master’s degree in social sciences. She takes care of social media marketing, brand development, content creation and solving digital problems for GoodTrail. When she’s not in front of the computer, you’ll find her in the mountains or climbing walls.
Jovan Eraković
Passionate cycling traveler and mountaineer. During several years-long burst of passion for randonneuring, successfully completed the oldest cycling event in the world, brevet Paris – Brest – Paris. Organizer and guide of bicycle tours. Before Trans Dinarica worked on developing cycling routes/networks in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Bulgaria and Ukraine, including establishing all three EuroVelo routes in Serbia and EuroVelo 6 in Bulgaria, EuroVelo inspector, certified by European Cyclist’s Federation.
