The Trans Dinarica Cycle Route website, and those who run it, are not tourism operators. We are cycle-route developers. From the outset, we knew that working with and promoting tour operators with the right values and ethical foundations was going to be important for the route and for the region. For this reason, we made a point of creating Trans Dinarica Operators (TDO): officially recognized operators who we trust to treat the region and travelers with the respect they deserve.
Unless you are going on a cycling trip entirely on your own (after purchasing the desired Navigation pack and obtaining useful information available from the Trans Dinarica website), they are the ones you can contact for the organization of guided and self-guided Trans Dinarica cycling tours. By doing so, other useful services will be available as part of this package, such as bike rentals, transfer services, luggage transfers, and similar offerings. In some cases, bike rental alone can also be an independent service to make organizing your own tour a bit easier.

In order to become an official operator, each company detailed on this website has either received or is in the process of receiving a sustainability certification. They were also required to sign a “Green Pledge.” Among the mandated virtues this pledge includes: respect, inclusivity, environmental and cultural awareness, ethical business practices, professionalism, and fair treatment of employees.
