From Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital, take the train to Most na Soči. At this spot, which sits in the shadow of the Julian Alps and at the confluence of the Idrijca and Soča Rivers, you’ll begin an epic 19-stage, three-country ride. Cycle along Slovenia’s Soča River before crossing into Croatia, biking next to and above the Adriatic on the slopes of the Velebit Mountains. The route will cross Croatia past Mount Dinara, before rolling into Bosnia and Herzegovina. Enjoy hospitable villages and photo-begging mountain landscapes on the way to the country’s capital, Sarajevo.
