Trans Dinarica 3.0 is here – with your help!
Dear travelers on bikes (and all those who are about to become one soon)!
After you supplied us with very useful information from the field all year long (thank you Cilia, David, Walton, Alain, …and all others), our team gathered all our strength and fixed the navigation packages. We knew from the very beginning that a cycling route is never finished – especially if it runs over such a large area as the Trans Dinarica. That is why it is so important to maintain the long-term sustainability of the route (thanks to everyone who supported us with buying navi packs, clothing and donations) and to keep the information flow between us as creators and you, the users. We think this collaboration is working great so far. If you were satisfied with TD 2.0, we shouldn’t worry about TD 3.0. Here you go, Trans Dinarica is waiting for you to get to know it, again and again.
Trans Dinarica navigation pack 3.0 – what’s new?
- We have gone, meter by meter, through all 5.540 kilometers of the route and made track corrections. Some of them are more cosmetic, others are of a very important nature – for your carefree and safe navigation.
- We have corrected the stage descriptions, made them more realistic and added practical hints.
- We have changed the Sokolac – Sarajevo stage in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the main route now runs along a newly renovated cycle path along an abandoned railway (#gravelheaven, btw – see photo below). The route past the Olympic bobsleigh track is still there as an alternative.
- Information on the road surface has been updated. Bad or good news, the total TD routes in Albania only have 3% gravel left.
- We have added 251 new useful POIs (accommodations, restaurants, bike services… and great burek places).
- Difficult sections and those with more traffic are now more precisely described in the itinerary.
Current prices are valid until January 30, 2026

In this case, use the code THANKYOU40 and be sure to use the same email address as for your first purchase. The discount code can only be redeemed until January 30, 2026.

New section of the cycling route towards Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Here, this is a photo from a new section in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Beautiful gravel road with no traffic, tunnels through rocky cliffs, and below you the Miljacka River Gorge. We think you’ll love it. So, now the planning for your 2026 adventure can begin. Enjoy!
