Trans Dinarica merch: inspired by rakija, fueled by burek

Dear cyclists, fans and supporters of Trans Dinarica, we have started to fill our online store shelves. In addition to the Trans Dinarica cycling jerseys that some of you have been wearing for a few months, you can now buy a branded hoodie, a T-shirt and a cap.

First, the story of where the slogan ‘Inspired by rakia, fueled by burek’ came from. When we were exploring all of the eight countries, our workday lasted from sunrise to sunset – without a break to sit down in a restaurant in the middle of the day. Our lunch was mostly, guess what, burek, most often with cheese, sometimes meat, spinach or potato, with some yogurt and a piece of fruit as a side dish. So burek is definitely the common thread of our – and we believe yours too – Trans Dinarica.

And rakija? With the hospitality of the locals, it’s often served as an aperitif before dinner, and sometimes also with morning coffee. We never drunk rakia because we wanted to get drunk, we simply didn’t have time for that, but … It’s just not not polite to say no. Or because we were toasting a successful day. Or good weather. For inspiration … To great company.

And so, the Trans Dinarica slogan ‘inspired by rakia, powered by burek’ was born. For now, you can find it on a hoodie (85% organic cotton, 15% recycled polyester) and a T-shirt (100% cotton), and a classic peaked cap is also available. Would you like to have it? Welcome to Trans Dinarica Shop.

Would you like anything else? We would be happy to hear your suggestions, thank you.

And thank you to everyone who has already and will continue to proudly wear the Trans Dinarica. By doing so, you are also helping us maintain and develop the route further. Živeli! (Cheers)!
